Those of you who are struggling with career moves and decisions really need to read 48 Days to the Work You Love by Dan Miller. It was one of the books that gave me the courage to step out into photography 'full time,' meaning without a day job. Anyway, I also subscribe to his weekly newsletter and wanted to pass on some great wisdom from one of his letters a few weeks ago. -Kyle
Without thinking - What is God's most frequent command? If you're like most people, you probably thought of "Love the Lord your God," or "Love One Another." Or maybe one of the other Ten Commandments. None of those make it to the top of the list for the most common command from God.
You know what it is? "Do not be afraid."
That shows up over three hundred times in the Scripture. A quick Google search for "fear" shows up 304 Million sites, while "confidence" show up a little more than half as often at 180 Million. In hearing from hundreds of people each week who say they would like to develop some idea on their own, the two most frequently "perceived" obstacles are:
1. Lack of Money
2. Too much Fear
